I would like to make you aware of an opportunity of interest to innovators.

The Wichita State University Kansas Small Business Development Center will offer Encountering Innovation Week October 23-27. The event will provide you with the opportunity to pitch or exhibit to Federal Technology Scouts who seek innovations for commercialization.

The application deadline to pitch or display your innovation is Friday, August 25. It is free to apply.

Encountering Innovation Week also includes a Forum Day and Evening Networking Events. These activities will

  • inform you about needs that are of prime interest to the Tech Scouts
  • help you understand whether your innovation already fits an emerging need or if it can be modified to meet a need
  • help you understand the commercialization process so that you can better connect your innovation with needs
  • provide you with opportunities to establish informal connections with Tech Scouts
